TechnicalGIS often receives press enquiries about re-using images and map layouts, owing to the often topical nature of the material published on the site.

Before you ask

Many of our maps and figures are built from open data with their own licence terms. Each tutorial lists its data sources and attributions at the end — for example Copernicus Sentinel-2 imagery, the Copernicus DEM, OpenStreetMap (ODbL) and Natural Earth (public domain). Any re-use must keep those attributions, whatever permission we give for our own layouts.
