National open imagery Openly licensed aerial orthophotography at 1 m or finer covers about 70% or more of the land area.

Beeldmateriaal Nederland flies the whole country twice a year (7.5 cm leaf-off and 25 cm leaf-on, with infrared), and since June 2025 the imagery has been freely downloadable under CC BY 4.0.
