LiDAR and elevation data for Austria

Partial open LiDAR Openly licensed LiDAR exists, but only for limited areas such as states, provinces, cities or project sites.

Austrian airborne laser scanning is run by the nine Bundesländer and published as open government data under CC BY 4.0 via data.gv.at. Tirol, Oberösterreich and Vorarlberg publish 0.5 m terrain models, and Salzburg, Steiermark and Vienna publish 1 m. Niederösterreich, Burgenland and Kärnten openly publish only 5–10 m ALS-derived models. geoland.at publishes a national 10 m ALS DGM.
