LiDAR and elevation data for Lithuania

Restricted LiDAR exists but is not openly licensed: it is sold, released on request, or limited to non-commercial use.

Lithuania has a national LiDAR programme (Lidar_DR_LT, annual campaigns 2019–2026) with nominal density of at least 15 points/m² and vertical RMSE ≤ 10 cm, plus older LiDAR for flood-prone areas. The data are distributed through geoportal.lt, whose general conditions grant a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the data after placing an order (registration). No open licence was found for the LiDAR.

Free is not the same as open. Cost is what you pay to get the data; the licence says what you may do with it. How cost and licence are defined
